    Roman mosaics from the hotel owner's personal collection line the walls of this boutique-style hotel on the Plaza de Las Cortes, giving it a mood that sits somewhere between a Madrid townhouse and a small archaeology museum. Rooms run spacious and soundproofed, many split across two levels. The Prado, Thyssen, and Reina Sofia are all within a short walk, which does a lot of the hotel's marketing for it.
