    Bar Albert sits on the 38th floor, making it the highest rooftop bar in Auckland, which isn't nothing in a city that spends most of its energy pointing people toward the countryside. The hotel itself is a boutique property in a downtown tower, with harbor views that stretch well past the skyline. Beds are made from recycled materials, there's a bikeshare partnership for the restless, and an Italian trattoria handles dinner on the lower floors.
