A Thai chef with a background in serious kitchens runs this compact, upscale contemporary Thai restaurant near the city centre. Evenings mean a choice of five or eight courses, and the room, dressed with considered Thai decorative touches, feels genuinely calm rather than stagey. The two owners handle the floor themselves, which shows. Lunch runs on a shorter menu a few days a week for those who can't commit to the full ritual.
