    Palm-tree murals painted across bedroom ceilings set the tone at this boutique hotel in Botafogo, where the London-based Yoo Design Studio made its first foray into hospitality. The aesthetic leans bold: street art, graphic prints, and colorful murals rather than the muted earth tones common to Rio's upscale scene. Rooms on the right side of the building look straight at Sugar Loaf or Corcovado, and the rooftop bar has the views you'd expect.
