Counter seating on tall stools runs the length of the room, sushi-bar style, which makes for an odd first impression in the Oltrarno. The food, though, is straightforwardly Tuscan: a blackboard menu of ribollita, peposo, and pici that shifts with the season and whatever the chef feels like that day. No reservations at lunch, which keeps things lively. The Michelin Guide awards it a Bib Gourmand.
