    The unmarked door on the harbor promenade leads up to a rooftop terrace with a full view over the Adriatic, which is a fairly good trick considering it sits right at the edge of Diocletian's Palace. This contemporary Mediterranean restaurant plays with traditional Dalmatian recipes without dismantling them, and the wine list skews local in a way the staff are happy to talk you through. Dressy-casual, the kind of place you book ahead.
