Elba has exactly one place on the list so far: Address Beach Resort Bahrain, honored by the Forbes Travel Guide.
-
Massive windows facing the Gulf handle most of the design work at this Forbes Four Star resort, letting the light do what the sand-toned marble and blue accents quietly suggest. Part of the Marassi Al Bahrain complex on the island's northwest shore, it keeps its food and beverage operation deliberately focused: one restaurant, a garden terrace for evening drinks, and afternoon tea in the lounge. The spa runs until ten, for guests who refuse to choose between a massage and a sunset.
