A ring of timber suspended over a frozen river in a village most maps don't bother with, Arctic Bath is a design hotel and spa in Swedish Lapland where the plunge pool in the central courtyard is kept, deliberately, at ice-cold. Eight treehouses, each designed by a different Swedish architecture firm, perched in the pines just south of the Arctic Circle.
