Contemporary Japanese
A second-floor omakase-style restaurant in Gangnam where the menu turns with Korea's four seasons, each edition quietly picking up where the last left off. The chef spent formative years in Japan, and the cooking shows it, though Western ingredients keep drifting in to complicate the story. The room is calm, the plating precise, and nothing announces itself too loudly, which is, in its own way, a kind of statement.
