    You ring a bell to get in, which sets the tone. Alkimia sits inside the Moritz brewery complex, a fine dining room positioned right in front of the open kitchen, with designer nods to the sea and salvaged furniture that reads like a Catalan manor house got a very good edit. Chef Jordi Vilà holds a Michelin star and runs a single tasting menu rooted in Catalan tradition, leaning heavily toward fish and the coast.
