Bonheur by Matt Abé
Modern French
The address at 43 Upper Brook Street has history baked into its walls, home for decades to the Roux family's Le Gavroche before Matt Abé took over the famous basement. This is a two-Michelin-starred fine dining restaurant where Abé's classical French technique gets a quiet jolt of modernity, with nods to his Australian upbringing woven into the warm, landscape-coloured room. Set menus and an à la carte both run, and the service team seem constitutionally opposed to letting anyone feel uncomfortable.
