The marble-topped bar and globe lamps set the tone before you've even sat down: this is a proper French brasserie, parquet floors and all, tucked into Oslo's old Kvadraturen quarter. The menu runs the classic Gallic hits, oysters, onion soup, côte de bœuf, with Nordic touches folded in quietly. Seafood gets particular attention, and the wine list repays a longer look than you might expect.
