    A pedestrian lane behind City Hall, named for the guild of children's shoemakers who once worked here, gave this elegant bistro its name and its small claim to Seville's layered past. The room leans toward sophisticated eclecticism, the menu toward contemporary Spanish cooking with a caviar section that signals the kitchen's ambitions. A tasting menu is available, though plenty of locals come just for the beef tartare aged with marrow.
