A 25-room boutique hotel in Centro Histórico where the building itself has a story, this was once the studio of legendary photographer Manuel Álvarez Bravo, whose work still hangs throughout. Grupo Habita wrapped Shaker-minimalist rooms around a colonial courtyard, layering Oaxacan textiles against weathered old stone. The rooftop pool and bar are where the place loosens up. Down below, a barbershop and fashion boutique keep things from feeling too hushed.
