Lipstick-red banquettes and bar stools pack the tiny ground floor so tightly it feels like the inside of a sweet jar, and the basement bar, with its low ceiling, is the better room by most measures. This is a Mexican bar in Notting Hill with a history that includes Christine Keeler and the Profumo Affair, which is quite a footnote. Tacos and tostadas arrive on plastic trays, the way they should.
