A narrow glass tower on Rua Oscar Freire, in the middle of São Paulo's Jardins shopping district, Emiliano is a design hotel that greets guests with a welcome massage instead of a cocktail, which sets the tone pretty cleanly. Rooms run to pale Brazilian woods, Eames chairs, custom pieces, and beds that make leaving feel unreasonable. The rooftop gym has wraparound city views, and the hotel keeps a helicopter on standby, in case yours is in the shop. It holds a Michelin Key.
