Encanto is José Avillez's intimate vegetarian tasting menu restaurant, tucked next to his Belcanto, with books lining the walls and arching overhead like a cozy fever dream of a library. The menu is strictly plant-based, seasonally driven, and technically serious, paired with biodynamic wines and house-made kombuchas. It holds a Michelin star, which the vegetables apparently earned on their own terms.
