    A shaman meets you at the entrance to help you set an intention for your stay, which is either the most Riviera Maya thing imaginable or a genuinely useful prompt to put your phone down. Either way, the resort earns it. Stone-and-wood towers rise above a mangrove forest on elevated walkways, every room facing the sea, local art on every surface. The SANA spa, several restaurants, and a beach club are all a short walk. Michelin awarded it 2 Keys.
