    Thirty palapa-roofed bungalows sit over the Caribbean just off Playa Maroma, making this the only overwater resort in the Riviera Maya. The all-inclusive package covers airport transfers, cenote catamaran cruises, and visits to a wild horse rescue, so the itinerary fills itself before you've unpacked. The private deck over the water, though, makes a strong case for doing none of it.
