Italian
A former diner in Candler Park, now very small and very Italian in the red-sauce-and-checkered-cloth spirit, though the kitchen wanders freely from that premise. Housemade pasta shares the menu with duck off a yakitori grill and fish roe deployed with unexpected confidence. The amaro list is taken seriously, and the tiramisù arrives in tidy little blocks. The New York Times put it on their Atlanta list, as did Esquire.
