Eight suites tucked into the scrubby hills of Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico's wine country, each one built to look like it was always there. Architect Alejandro D'Acosta used river stone, iron, and wood, with floor-to-ceiling glass pulling the landscape inside. The onsite winery, a glass cube propped on salvaged timber beams, does tastings. Small enough that you'll learn the other guests' names by day two, whether you planned to or not.
