    What looks like concrete from a distance turns out to be rammed earth, a handmade, low-carbon material that makes these ten studio retreats feel warmer than their clean lines suggest. Set in Valle de Guadalupe wine country, each studio comes with a private terrace, outdoor Jacuzzi, fire pit, and an infrared sauna inside. A poolside bar and the Fireside restaurant keep things social when the valley views stop being enough.
