    Obergurgl sits high enough that snow is rarely a question, and this hotel lets you ski straight off the property without negotiating a shuttle or a car park. Rooms run to pale timber and mountain stone, the panorama whirlpool does exactly what it sounds like after a long day on the pistes, and the terrace restaurant circles the view while the menu moves between Austrian classics and broader European cooking.
