A boutique hotel facing Helsinki's Market Square, Hotel Haven occupies a handsome old stone building and leans hard into what the Michelin Guide calls "cozy classicism," which turns out to mean the opposite of the cold minimalist Scandi cliché you were bracing for. Rooms run Comfort, Style, and Lux, and those names are unusually honest: beds are oversized and plush, bathrooms properly indulgent, and Bang & Olufsen equipment throughout for the audiophile who forgot their own.
