    A family hotel that has occupied the same hillside above Zermatt for generations, freshly rebuilt and expanded, with south-facing balconies that frame the Matterhorn so squarely it feels staged. The Sunnegga lift is steps away, so the logistics of a ski day are mercifully simple. Rooms run to 29, there's a substantial spa, and Ad Lib downstairs rewrites its menu each week around the market, which keeps things honest.
