    A Liberty-style frescoed ceiling inside a converted 19th-century musical café sets the scene for this Michelin-starred fine dining restaurant on Bologna's grandest boulevard. The kitchen runs Mediterranean-leaning tasting menus in three lengths, and if the main room feels too grand, the 14th-century icehouse downstairs has a glass floor looking straight into the wine cellar, which is exactly as theatrical as it sounds.
