    Counter seats facing the open kitchen are the ones regulars angle for, and it's easy to see why: watching the chef work is half the meal at this intimate Japanese restaurant in Nuremberg. Set menus run from a sushi and sashimi duo up to a longer omakase, with the occasional Franconian flourish slipped in. Kirin on tap and a thoughtful sake list round things out, and the room is small enough that the service feels almost like eating at a friend's place.
