Kamado
Italian
A traditional wood-fired kamado stove anchors the room and sets the whole logic of the meal: you start with rice cooked directly in it, and everything else follows that same thread. This intimate Osaka restaurant fuses Italian and Japanese cooking through the discipline of wood fire, so meat roasts over embers while pasta closes the evening. Even the pottery was kiln-fired. The coherence of the concept makes it feel less like fusion and more like a thesis.
