A Michelin-starred vegan restaurant tucked into a corner plot near Wiedikon, KLE has the warm, informal feel of a neighborhood pub that happens to serve some of the more quietly thrilling food in Zurich. The chef's Moroccan roots and time cooking in New York and Switzerland surface in dishes that are unfussy but pointed. Solo diners get a converted phone booth. Everyone else books ahead and lets the seasonal surprise menu do the talking.
