    Breakfast is served on the chapel altar, which sets the tone for this boutique hotel occupying an officially designated monument in Córdoba's UNESCO old town. The building began as an 18th-century chapel; the hermit's house next door is now a café. Rooms range from one built around an exposed ancient well to a terrace suite with a plunge pool and views of the Mosque-Cathedral. The Michelin Guide has it among its selected hotels.
