La Table du Boucher
French
A painted wooden ceiling arches over the room, and the menu reads like a love letter to red meat: tartare, carpaccio, hanger steak, rib steak, veal kidneys. This is an old-school brasserie in Mons where the kitchen keeps things honest and the wine list was clearly chosen by someone who eats the same way. The Michelin Guide has given it a Bib Gourmand, which tracks. Vegetarians will want to look elsewhere, and that's probably fine by everyone involved.
