La Valise is a boutique beachfront property, a handful of bungalows and a villa, doing the Robinson Crusoe fantasy with enough good taste to make it feel earned rather than costumed. The team behind a well-regarded micro-boutique in Mexico City runs this one, so the bohemian design and traditional crafts actually have someone minding the details.
