    The Villa here is a former private home, which tells you something about how this boutique beachfront hotel thinks about itself. Garden and Jungle rooms disappear into the foliage; Ocean rooms put you steps from the sand. The open-air restaurant and bar faces the beach just as you'd hope. It sits toward the quiet southern end of the strip, where the Tulum that travelers dream about hasn't entirely been replaced by the Tulum that influencers built.
