Charcoal skewers arrive at the table in steady rotation while a spread of salatim fills every gap in between. This Fishtown skewer shop opened before the Brooklyn outpost, so Philly claims the original. Industrial bones get softened by hanging lanterns and greenery, which makes the whole room feel festive rather than warehouse-cold. The lamb ribs in cola and sour cherry glaze have earned their reputation. The New York Times put it on their restaurant list the year it opened.
