    Fire is the organizing principle at this modern bistro on the Left Bank, where the chef built the whole menu around flames and hot coals. The cooking pulls French produce into contact with spices gathered on extensive travels, and the results are vivid and a little restless in the best sense. The sommelier co-founded the place, so the wine list gets real attention. Small, personal, and exactly as lively as the name suggests.
