    The dining room is all white with blankets draped over the chairs, designed by Sybille de Margerie to feel cozy rather than austere, which takes some doing at this altitude. Le 1947 is a fine dining restaurant inside the Cheval Blanc ski resort in Courchevel, where tables circle an open kitchen and Yannick Alléno's brigade works in full view. The kind of place where the menu moves at the pace of a long run down an empty mountain.
