A long, narrow dining room tucked into old Avignon, with vintage hardwood floors and beamed ceilings that the designer pendant lights and Plexiglas chairs cheerfully refuse to match. This is a modern bistro where the chef, who came up through serious kitchens, keeps the cooking focused on seasonal produce and whatever interesting things happen when you treat one ingredient several different ways at once. Relaxed and unfussy, with cooking that has something to say.
