The Nagayama group has been around forever in São Paulo's Japanese food scene, and their flagship takes up most of a city block in Itaim Bibi, with a bar and café spilling out around it. Upstairs, a softly lit sushi bar anchors the main dining room, where the menu runs the full range from carpaccio and sashimi to teppanyaki. A Japanese restaurant with the confidence of a place that stopped needing to explain itself years ago.
