    The name means "new moon" in Greek, and the geometric, minimalist design earns it. This boutique hotel near the Acropolis keeps things sleek and calm, with floor-to-ceiling windows, parquet floors, and marble bathrooms across rooms that stay surprisingly quiet. The rooftop is the reason to book: a pool, a bar, and a restaurant, plus a view of the illuminated Acropolis after dark that makes transparent heated dining bubbles feel less absurd than they sound.
