    A twelfth-century Muslim palace turned boutique hotel in the old town, with 37 rooms where bare stone walls and Danish-influenced wood-and-linen interiors coexist without either side blinking. The spa and sun terrace encourage the kind of doing-nothing that feels vaguely productive in Mallorca. The rooftop bar catches the sunset over the bay in a way that makes other guests suddenly seem like acceptable company. The Michelin Guide awarded it one Key.
