A former pub in Vienna's ninth district, now running a Michelin-starred surprise menu out of a room that still feels like somewhere you'd stop for a beer. The chef's cooking is seasonal and creative, built on contrasts that manage to be bold without being showy. The team keeps things relaxed and attentive in equal measure, which is harder to pull off than it sounds.
