Hôtel Récamier is a small, quietly redesigned Left Bank hotel that seems to have decided, correctly, that the point of staying in Saint-Germain-des-Prés is the neighborhood itself. Each floor runs its own subtle aesthetic, from monochrome to something earthier. The feeling of genuine seclusion in this arrondissement is rare enough that the lack of a bar barely registers.
