    The two towers are shaped to echo the Thai wai, palms pressed together in greeting, which is either a beautiful design concept or a very tall way to say hello. Either way, it works. This luxury hotel on Phloen Chit Road holds a Michelin Key distinction and a spot on the World's 50 Best Hotels list. Inside, fan-shaped lights and Thai sculptures fill the marble lobby, and rooms run to floor-to-ceiling angled windows in soft plums and blues.
