    Sitting on the Kowloon waterfront with most of its 400-plus rooms aimed straight at the Hong Kong skyline, this 65-floor luxury hotel holds the top spot on the World's 50 Best Hotels list and three Michelin Keys. Designer Tony Chi folded checked wool, tweed, and Damien Hirst sculptures into something that feels more like a very grand private residence than a tower block. Eleven bars and restaurants, the Asaya spa, and entry-level rooms that start at 53 square metres keep you from ever needing to leave.
