    The first floor is a full tribute to Barcelona's "gauche divine," the creatives who pushed back against Franco while looking extremely cool doing it. This boutique hotel on a passage just off Las Ramblas layers pop art and murals over sleek, compact rooms with retro tile showers and hardwood floors. Some have balconies. There's a billiards room, a cocktail bar, and bike rentals for when the Michelin-selected novelty of it all wears off.
