Summer Palace
Cantonese
Crystal chandeliers and starched tablecloths set the tone on the fifth floor of the Island Shangri-La, where Summer Palace has been doing polished Cantonese fine dining for long enough to feel like a civic institution. The menu runs dim sum, roasted dishes, seafood, and clay-pot rice, with the occasional Peking duck or quinoa fried rice slipping in without derailing anything. It holds a Michelin star.
