    A welcome drink made with honey from the hotel's own bees sets the tone at this Belmond property tucked between Sloane Square and Belgravia. Fifty-four rooms across five joined townhouses keep it feeling like a private house rather than a hotel, with 400-odd pieces of British art on the walls and access to the otherwise members-only Cadogan Place Gardens. Oscar Wilde's old room is now part of the Royal Suite. Forbes Five Star and Michelin two keys.
