1. The Dolder Grand Spa

    Perched above Zürich like it owns the place, the Dolder Grand is a grand hotel spa that genuinely earns the word grand. The building is all cupolas and wooden spires, but inside it's less museum, more serious wellness temple: a long pool, 18 treatment rooms, saunas, steam rooms, indoor and outdoor Jacuzzis, and a snow room for when you want to feel unhinged in the best way. The crowd runs to quiet luxury types who've earned the silence.
