The Foundry Suites Athens

A former type foundry in Psirri now does its best work as a boutique hotel, with suites that keep the industrial bones intact: terrazzo floors, steel-framed windows, exposed stone, and ceilings high enough to fit a loft level connected by a floating staircase. No two rooms are identical, but all run apartment-wide with full kitchens and marble bathrooms. The rooftop terrace serves gourmet pizzas and Greek wines under a view of the Acropolis that makes the whole thing feel slightly unfair.
