    Concrete and steel frame views of the open kitchen, where lunch pivots between kakuni-braised rice bowls and dinner's more restless reach across East and West—tuna tataki dressed as a Niçoise salad, duck rillette with Basque cheesecake for dessert. The cooking at Torafuku draws from Korea, Japan, and Taiwan but refuses to stay put, which is precisely the point.
